CKXU is a volunteer driven radio society that provides independent campus and community radio and opportunities through programming, tools, training and events in the Southern Alberta region.
I was a DJ for the program Bros Get Stoked on CKXU from 2013 to 2015 primarily focused on pop punk and emo music.
The People’s Potato is a vegan soup kitchen at Concordia University - a student initiated project that was founded in 1999 in order to address student poverty and the lack of affordable food options on campus. Serving more than 500 meals daily to students and community members, they are committed to education around food politics and anti-oppression, and to the broader goals of social and environmental justice.

Le Frigo Vert is an anti-capitalist health and community space located within Concordia University's downtown campus offering a waste free store, free programming for students and community members, alternative health services, and by-donation meals.
Food Not Bombs is a loose-knit group of independent collectives, sharing free vegan and vegetarian food with others. Food Not Bombs' ideology is that myriad corporate and government priorities are skewed to allow hunger to persist in the midst of abundance. To demonstrate this and to reduce costs, a large amount of the food served by the group is surplus food from grocery stores, bakeries and markets that would otherwise go to waste, or occasionally has already been thrown away. |

SubCulture Club is an all ages DIY live music venue in Victoria for artists, performers, and their supporters. It is a creative gathering place for those who don’t feel at home in mainstream arts establishments or for-profit entertainment venues.
